Remember our other mountain tour: September Tour of Washington

We have had a couple of meetings so far about our Spring/Summer 2011 Tour, which is very big and should last about 6 weeks and 2121 miles!

We have had a couple of short and dry rides on Saturday mornings and it looks like 4 riders are signed on for the whole tour, which will start after May 18th.

We are weaving back and forth across the Mountain Passes!

Here’s the tentative route:
Start: San Juan Islands, Washington State
Rockport, WA
Colonial Creek Campground
Mazama, WA
Pateros, WA
Blue Shastain
Yakima, WA (day off here)
Cascades Peaks
Eagle Creek
Viento State Park
Frog Lake
Detroit, Oregon
Bend, Oregon (day off here)
North Davis Creek
Diamond Lake
Union Creek
Willow Lake County Park
Ashland, Oregon (days off to see some plays)
Mt. Shasta
Old Station
Toulumme Meadows
Fish Camp
Sandy’s  (rest day)
Grant’s Village
Three Rivers
Camp Nelson
Lake Isabella
End: Lake Casitas
We end up in California about day 38! With a day at the beach!

I am attempting to calculate the days I can take off from work.  3 riders are retired.  Want to join us? For some of the days?   Make a comment and leave your email address (only I will see it) – we will get back to you soon.
