It just does not seem like a vacation until I take out my paints and pictures from my biking trips and practice my art.

Here is my 2010 Holiday Season Painting.   This is the Cathlamet Slough and some seriously older houses across the bridge from an ancient Grange Hall or School.   It is just before the river meets the Columbia and I thought it was a fascinating study.

I bike or drive past these building quite often, they always catch my eye.
